This is a summary of the key terms for using Switched. It is written in plain language to give you the key points — it is not a substitute for legal advice.
You need an account (via Google sign-in) to go live, host a studio, or invite guests. Guests can join a studio session via an invite link without creating an account, scoped to that session only.
You own what you stream and post. By streaming on Switched, you give us the license needed to deliver, store, and display your stream — including simulcasting it to platforms you choose to connect (YouTube, X, LinkedIn). Switched always remains the primary delivery destination for your stream.
We may remove content, suspend streams, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Tips sent on Switched today are platform points with no cash value and are not redeemable. We plan to introduce an optional Solana-based token economy in the future — these terms will be updated before that feature is enabled.
Simulcasting relies on third-party services (Restream, Cloudflare, and the platforms you connect). Their terms also apply, and we're not responsible for outages or policy changes on their end.
Switched is provided "as is." We work to keep streams reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
